HireVibes is excited to announce plans to deploy multiple on-chain freelance marketplaces in 2023. This is an exciting development in using Web3 to improve the world of work.

The solution will leverage soul-bound NFT’s and the VIBES token to power verified credentials; lifetime referral rewards; Regenerative Finance (ReFi) funding for impact projects; and HireVibes Community DAO Treasury.

One of the most common digital files that almost everyone on the planet own’s and uses is the CV / Resume. As Andy Spence from Workforce Futurist noted; ​​

The problem with traditional CV’s is that they are completely subjective, and anyone can write anything they want on their CV. In fact, 78% of applicants lie on their CV’s! Well, forcing hiring managers and recruiters to qualify each statement on a candidate's CV takes extensive time and effort, for both parties.

HireVibes is solving these age-old problems in recruitment by building a network of decentralized freelance marketplaces that are anchored to the main HireVibes platform.

To work in these on-chain labor markets, users will mint a soul-bound NFT (essentially an NFT that can’t be transferred) that records each completed job as true and verifiable, automatically on the blockchain. This will enable professionals to build an on-chain resume (or a ‘Web3 CV’) containing verifiable records to streamline navigating the world of work. The ability to build a self-sovereign identity that can be ported to other platforms, instead of being held captive by the platform owner, is absolutely essential.

Scaling crypto’s productivity

On-chain freelance marketplaces will form part of HireVibes Community Job Board software offering, like the one we’re serving for Stacks.co/jobs. Crypto ecosystems like Stacks have an abundance of talent and opportunity, however matching them is difficult. HireVibes job board software matches both in real-time to accelerate the growth and productivity of the entire ecosystem. We see great opportunity in being the first talent liquidity provider that can bridge talent cross-chain and enable any community to tap into HireVibes on-demand digital workforce.

The first EVM (Ethereum Virtual Machine) compatible blockchain that HireVibes will launch on will be announced soon as well as the VIBES token fee mechanism to support it. The VIBES token will eventually be wrapped and deployed on each chain HireVibes builds on in the future, however to start; a more manual system of collecting fees in ETH on EVM chains which are then converted to VIBES using eg. Stackswap’s cross-chain dex, is a more likely first approach. The HireVibes Community DAO, which is launching in Q1 2023 using StackerDAO, will then have another income stream to continue growing the Community Treasury (which already contains 15.6 million VIBES tokens generated from permanent hiring fees).
