So much is happening in the blockchain & crypto space these days and HireVibes is no different. We wanted to update the community about the growth HireVibes has experienced recently.
HireVibes Rewards Reach $49K & More Community Updates
With a recent surge in new job opportunities listed on HireVibes, the total rewards earned by HireVibes users to date has surpassed $49k, broken down as:
- Candidates & referrers: $30,498
- HireVibes DAO: $11,484
- Charity: $7,906
(distributions on-going)
While the size of these numbers may pale in comparison to other crypto ecosystems, as a fully bootstrapped project that was born in the bear market, we’re pleased with the progress being made and excited to make improvements to continue along this trajectory.
New Fee Structure: 5%
In startup land, ‘’test and iterate’’ is more than a mantra, it's the way to find product market fit.
Initially when HireVibes launched, to post a job vacancy: a 6% reward was the minimum bounty that employers needed to set in order to incentivise peer referrals and community crowdsourcing.
This minimum reward was then reduced to 3% which it has been up until today. However after performing in-depth market research and taking user feedback on board, the minimum reward required by hirers shall be 5% going forward beginning on June 30th 2021.
This slightly higher fee will not only incentivise more applications and referrals to job vacancies listed on HireVibes, it will also give HV Services Limited a revenue stream that can be sustainable over the long run.
Interns
We’ve completed our own hiring spree of late with the addition of 4 interns to the HireVibes team.
We have seen a lot of activity on our platform, due to the number of companies looking to hire via HireVibes and the number of new roles that companies in the crypto space are listing. The hard work of our team to capitalise on this extra activity has resulted in several hires and many more candidates currently interviewing with some of the leading companies in the space. For this reason, we have added two intern recruiters to our team to help bolster our efforts to match the growing lists of roles in the space with the pool of amazing talent we are seeing on a daily basis.
Additionally, we are delighted to announce that we have also added two Social Media & Marketing Interns to our team in an effort to develop our marketing strategy and increase our efforts to grow our community and let the world know more about HireVibes. We would like to thank our community members for their feedback and designating this as a priority for the project. Now that we have developed better systems for managing the demand in the industry, we look forward to implementing our marketing strategy and seeing the community grow as a result.
